High Noon Duel

Rules

1. A 3-second countdown, then the GO signal.
2. There are 6 duels.
3. Before the real word, the sheriff shouts 1 to 3 decoy words, like «FIRES!», «HIRE!» or «TIRE!».
4. Shoot (click) only when he says «FIRE!».
5. The event lasts 45 s at most.

How scoring works

Each duel scores more the faster you shoot after «FIRE!». Shooting on a decoy word takes 300 away. Responding less than 100 ms after the signal counts as jumping the gun: that round scores 0.

Levels

• Gold level3,800 points
• Silver level3,300 points
• Bronze level2,700 points

Levels are earned by result; medals are only for the CCI Olympics.

Tips

• Read the whole word: the decoys change a single letter.
• Finger ready, head cool.
• Watch the centre of the screen, not the mouse.
