Terms of use

Acceptance

These terms govern the use of the crazy.xmassoftware.com website, accounts, online features and the Crazy Olympics game, offered by XMAS Software, whose owner appears in the legal notice. By registering or using the service you accept them, together with the privacy and cookie policies.

A free game

Crazy Olympics is free: no payments, no in-game purchases and no ads. It is played in the browser. Both practising and playing for real need a verified account, because the server computes the score.

Accounts

• You must be at least 14 years old.
• One account per person. Details must be truthful and the email yours; you must verify it to play.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect unauthorised access, change it; that closes all sessions.
• Your nickname must be respectful and must not impersonate anyone. An offensive nickname is changed by force.

Conduct

Play fair and treat others with respect. In public rooms with strangers there are only predefined quick messages; free text is only between friends, with reporting and blocking available. The following is forbidden:

• Harassing, insulting, threatening or discriminating, and hate messages.
• Sending spam, advertising or malicious links.
• Cheating: automating clicks or keys, using macros, scripts or extensions, pasting text, tampering with the game or its communications, or submitting fake results.
• Deliberately exploiting game bugs instead of reporting them.
• Repeatedly leaving or sabotaging other players’ rounds.
• Giving a room an offensive name.

You can block any player: a blocked player cannot invite you, message you or send you notices. You can report players, nicknames, rooms and texts from the report page.

Results, rankings and rooms

Each run’s score is computed only by the server from the events your browser sends; the figures you see during the event are provisional. A result can be valid, under review (suspect, kept out of the ranking while a person checks it) or rejected (impossible).

Rooms are leagues (2 to 8 players, points per matchday) or tournaments (a bracket of 4 or 8). Each account may have at most 3 open rooms and a room that does not fill up expires after 7 days. Room points are counted apart from results. A result voided for cheating is worth 0 points or elimination. In live rooms, spectators see progress with a delay of at least 2 seconds and replays are kept for 7 days.

The team may void any result it considers fraudulent or the product of a bug, and may adjust the anti-cheat and medal thresholds.

Moderation and sanctions

Sanctions are progressive: warning, 7-day suspension, 30-day suspension and finally permanent; serious breaches may skip steps. A ban for cheating erases the affected results. Each sanction states its reason and, if temporary, its end date. You can appeal from My account → Appeals or by writing to info@xmassoftware.com; a person reviews it.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and free licence to use the game in the browser for non-commercial purposes.

• You may not redistribute, sell or rent the game or its files; share it by linking to this site.
• You may not decompile, reverse engineer or modify the game or its communications, except where the law expressly allows.
• Included third-party resources (typefaces, audio) are governed by their licences and may only be used inside the game.

Service availability

Crazy Olympics is provided as is. There may be bugs, balance changes, interruptions and result resets. Online services (accounts, rankings, rooms) could stop working at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the owner is not liable for indirect damages or loss of results caused by errors or interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer law gives you.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version with its date and, for relevant changes, ask you to accept it when you sign in again. If you disagree, you can delete your account.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from My account → My data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible; the privacy policy explains what is erased.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be heard by the competent courts under the applicable rules; if you are a consumer, those of your place of residence.
