Rules
- A 3-second countdown, then the GO signal.
- Type prices, codes and figures exactly as they appear: digits, commas, full stops and dashes.
- Not a single letter: it is all number pad or number row.
- You type on the keyboard and can use backspace; pasting text does not count.
- You get 45 s from the signal.
How scoring works
Your score grows with what you type correctly per minute, multiplied by your accuracy (correct keys over keys pressed). Typing at an impossible speed or pasting text voids the result.
Levels
- Gold level500 points
- Silver level350 points
- Bronze level200 points
Levels are earned by result; medals are only for the CCI Olympics.
Tips
- If you have a number pad, use it: that is what cashiers do.
- Watch the commas and full stops: a wrong separator counts as a mistake.
- A physical keyboard beats a touchscreen.
