Flash Count

Rules

1. A 3-second countdown, then the GO signal.
2. There are 10 rounds.
3. A bunch of things (5 to 14) flash on screen for an instant: from 1.5 s at first down to 0.7 s.
4. Then we ask how many of one kind there were.
5. You answer by clicking (or tapping) on the board.
6. The event lasts 1 min 30 s at most.

How scoring works

Every exact answer scores, more the faster you answer.

Levels

• Gold level900 points
• Silver level750 points
• Bronze level500 points

Levels are earned by result; medals are only for the CCI Olympics.

Tips

• Count in groups of two or three at a glance, not one by one.
• Put names to what you see ("red, blue, red"): said in your head, it sticks better.
